TGA is hosting a special event with pro golfer Danny Guise, who will be in the Detroit area to try to qualify for the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

Danny has been traveling the country for the past few years chasing his lifelong dream of playing on the PGA Tour. He broke through and competed on the Korn Ferry Tour last summer and has missed qualifying for PGA Tour events by one shot on several occasions.

Danny is a TGA brand ambassador and son of TGA coach Joe Guise of TGA's chapter in suburban New York.

Danny will hit balls with a variety of clubs, answer questions from golfers and parents, plus spend a few minutes with each golfer individually. All participants will be able to hit lots of range balls while learning from Danny and another special guest, TGA assistant coach Lauren Timpf. Lauren is a sophomore at Lutheran North High School and recently won the state high school tournament by an astonishing 14 strokes. Lauren grew up with TGA, attending after-school classes, summer camps, tournaments and parent-child events before becoming an assistant coach.
